CCIE Success Stories

Finally I got my magic number today in my 3 rd attempt.I have taken exactly 1 years to complete my R&S journey. I would have been a CCIE in my first attempt but I did the blunder of my life and missed out. Configuration - FAIL Section Section Score 1. Layer 2 Technologies 0% 2. Layer 3 Technologies 0% 3. IP Multicast 0% 4. Advanced Services 0% 5. Optimize the Network 0% Troubleshooting - PASS I dont thing anyone has such score report ever :).It was my blunder as I thought I was failing troubleshooting and quit configuration section after 2 hrs of troubleshooting.I had no good sleep (very very important ) and feeling drowsy during TS .first 30 minutes my mind was not at all working(i was typing wrongly) and then some how I managed 8 tickets and finally when i was pushing a service policy under interface TS screen disappeared (TIME OVER).Immediately i got annoyed of my self and quit the lab.Next day result came and i saw PASSED TS. In my second attempt I had good sleep and solved all TS tickets with verification and completed the configuration section smoothly,no crazy stuff.Still I feel It was my best attempt,I was confident but no luck.I failed TS section and passed configuration part .It was really surprising to me failing troubleshooting after doing all tkts with verification.I decided not to write R&S track again also there was no slot in India for 3-4 months. Again after few days i got motivated by my family and managed one date as some one dropped ,This time i am successful. I used INE vol1 , vol2 , vol3 , vol4 and recently New r&S ATC by Brian.All these products are absolutely superb and specially I feel the ATC is an asset for rest of my network career. Finally i would like to thank entire INE team( Both Brians and Petr)for developing such wonderful study materials not only to help candidates to achieve their CCIE No also make them technically sound for real time.

I have just received the great news an hour ago! It took me two times to achieve it. The first time was almost a year ago and I was blown away with the intensity, the format, stress and you name it. I decided to take a short break after studying for 9 months...but this short break lasted more than half a year! When I finally got myself back on track it took me another four months to get ready. The INE material I find truly amazing as I feel it makes me a better engineer in general by teaching not only towards getting the answer right just for the exam, but actually making you understand how things work and those little extra bits that make you long for more! Well, that's how it works for me anyway ;-) In the end everything came together and now I am CCIE...finally! A big compliment for INE for not only developing, but also innovating the way they teach!!

All thanks to INE. I passed my lab yesterday. Have a very long history with the lab. My first attempt was back in November 2008 when it was still v3. After failing twice, took a 2 years break, came back and started afresh, and yesterday I got it. What a relief! It is really worth having, I feel great. Thanks to INE for the great material. With you, I managed to understood every little bit of technology and when troubleshooting in the lab, that gives one the edge. Your strategies and advises really works. Carry on doing the great job guys! My advice for those studying is that, you can make it. Troubleshooting takes time, be careful! Configurations are tricky, and not difficult. Thanks to INE, i passed my CCIE exam in September, 2011. on my second attempt. I bought the full self-paced bundle which included Workbooks Vol 1 - 4, and Adv tech videos, Adv troubleshooting, with R&S Lab Meet-Up Series Class-on-Demand, R&S Lab Preparation Bootcamp Video-on-Demand and R&S Open Lecture Series Class-on-Demand. And i had hands on with the Rack rentals offered on the site. The Support staff were really helpful. Keep it up guys, you really making the world a better place in your own way.

I am happy to report that I passed my Route Switch CCIE yesterday in San Jose at the second time of asking. I have been studying for the exam for a little under a year and have used INE's materials and rack rentals exclusively. My study regime consisted of: 2 week bootcamp in Reno last December with your incredible instructor and all round top guy Petr Lapukhov. Completed Volume's 1 through 4 of INE's workbooks Countless hours on graded labs rack rentals. Watched both Version 4.0 and 4.5 of your Advanced Technologies video's on demand I Read the following Routing TCP/IP volumes 1 and 2, CCIE R&S Certification guide, MPLS fundamentals, TCP/IP Principles Protocols and Architecture and the QoS exam guide. I also got through a lot of the Cisco Configuration guides. I have been fortunate enough to have a very understanding wife who allowed me to take the last 3 months off work to focus purely on getting this result. Thank you INE and particularly Petr who I have been in contact with throughout this quest and always made himself available to answer any questions I had. It all started with the voice of Anthony Sequeira a year ago.... the journey with INE classes and VOLI, VOLII , that led me to my CCIE certification smoothly and confidently ... Finally, on Aug 15th I received my number. It took 20 months but the hard work finally paid off. I used all 4 workbooks with several passes through Vol I, II and III in addition to viewing all the countless hours of videos. INE's workbooks and videos gave me a good solid foundation with the in depth detail. Thanks INE.

I passed CCIE lab on 11th Aug 2011. Even with a certified professional level CCNP and CCDP, was a long journey. The INE self-study material helped me to consolidate the knowledge and practice necessary to achieve the dream title of CCIE R&S. There were two failed attempts, but I'm not discouraged. I passed the CCIE R&S in August.I'm happy to tell that INE WB1,WB2 and WB4 are great.There are many good full labs in WB2.You can use WB1 to learn all technologies deeply. Thanks to INE ,glad to finish this CCIE period with success.
