In august 2007 I was busy with my CCSP training program when a colleague asked me to join him to do CCIE Security. I was not interested at first, thinking that CCIE was a bit too much for me. But I thought that it would be a great practice for me. A lot of experience in the technique and having some fun. Not at all to get the number. So I started by getting my written. This took about 2 months, because I already had 3 of my 5 CCSP certificates. End September 2007 I started practicing with the Internetwork Expert study material. At the beginning once a week, but when time passed more every week. In the end, just before my exam I had 2 weeks off and did 10 hours+ per day. My speed was building every day. The first lab I did in 3 days, but in the end I did it in 5 hours. This was the base of a successful first attempt at 13th of October 2008. Now I have my number!!!!

Hello, Just wanted to let you know that I passed my IE ( second attempt) in San Jose. It took two whole days for the results to come in .. and the wait was excruciating. I must thank everyone at INE ... especially for their excellent study material . Top Stuff The lab was ok . Not tough and not easy either . I made very silly mistakes in my first attempt and knew what they were. Finished about 2 hours early and spent the rest of the time reviewing ... must have rebooted the entire kit at least thrice ...to make sure all tunnels came up and all verifications worked. The exhaustion is just settling in ... my fingers literally hurt as i type this.
