At Internetwork Expert, we want you to know that you are making a secure investment in us and in yourself when you choose to purchase our products. In order to help you accomplish your study goals, we offer an Exclusive Investment Protection Program that allows you the luxury of being able to access updates to all material that you purchase from us for life. You will receive unlimited free updates to all product purchases in electronic/online format for AS LONG AS YOU NEED! Updated printed materials can also be purchased at a nominal fee.
Although we are confident that you will pass the CCIE Lab Exam on your FIRST attempt after using our products properly, we want you to feel confident that you don’t have to. With our Investment Protection Program, the pressure is off! At Internetwork Expert we don’t just want you to pass the CCIE Lab Exam, we want you to learn the material in order to apply it in a real-world setting. Our Exclusive Investment Protection Program guarantees that you will be able to access our materials, and the new updates to that material, for as long as you will need in order to fully grasp it. Please take a look at the features of our Investment Protection Program listed below:
- Automatic free updates of all electronic materials relating to a purchased product, as they’re released, for customers who purchased electronic OR printed editions of that product
- Available updates of all printed / physical materials relating to a purchased product, as they’re released, for a nominal charge equal to cost of materials plus any shipping and handling.
- Re-attend any purchased live bootcamp for a nominal equipment usage fee; or provide your own remote rack and attend again for free! (see limitations below)
- Receive access to the Class-on-Demand Edition of any online class you attended, free of charge, and get free updates to that Class-on-Demand for life! If a DVD Edition of that Class-on-Demand is available, it may also be purchased for a nominal charge equal to the cost of materials plus any shipping and handling
Investment Protection Examples
Below are a few examples of specific scenarios in which Investment Protection can benefit you!
With Internetwork Expert...
- You purchase a printed version of the Volume II R&S Lab Workbook in June 2008; and in the following September, we release a new version of that workbook. Since your purchase is covered, you will receive access to the updated version in electronic format free of charge. If you would like to get a new printed version you can do so for a nominal charge equal to the cost of materials plus any shipping and handling. This includes a new printed workbook, new laminated diagrams, and the new printed Solutions Guide!
- You attend an instructor-led bootcamp in Reno, NV during the month of August in 2008. You decide in June of 2009 that you would like re-seat the bootcamp. Simply email in to make sure a seat is available, and you can re-sit the class (See below under “limitations” for full details).
- You purchase our Advanced Technologies Class-on-Demand in July 2008 and in April 2009, Cisco announces changes to the CCIE lab exam. We release a new version of the Class-on-Demand in March 2009 that covers the April 2009 CCIE lab exam changes. Since your purchase included Investment Protection, you will receive the updated version free of charge
With someone else...
- You attend a CCIE class from competitor X in October 2007. Due to work and/or personal issues you do not get a chance to attempt the actual CCIE lab exam until January 2009. Since you attended the class over a year ago, you feel that you would like retake their class before your CCIE lab date. Since competitor X doesn't offer an Investment Protection Program you are forced to attend the CCIE lab and fail BEFORE you are allowed to retake their class! And this is only IF they have a class retake policy AND have a retake seat available in the class you want to attend! Note: Some competitors may ask you to forward your CCIE lab score report to them before allowing you to retake the class. This is against Cisco's NDA disclosure agreement so be very careful!
- You purchase a lab preparation workbook from competitor Y in August 2008. Competitor Y releases a new version of their lab workbook in January 2009. Since competitor Y doesn't offer an Investment Protection Program you are stuck with the old version unless you purchase the new version from them
Limitations
Internetwork Expert wants to ensure that our customers gain the most value possible from this Investment Protection Program, and we therefore offer it on every product possible. However, due to the nature of certain products and services we offer, there are a few limitations to be aware of:
• CCIE Graded Mock Lab Exams
Our Graded Mock Lab Exams include rack access along with the lab, so the student can take the exam on our equipment, and have his configurations graded by a proctor. When a new version of a Mock Lab is released that the student has already taken; students will still receive the updated exam and solutions for free; but if they wish to have it graded on our equipment again, they must re-pay for a full Graded Mock Lab Exam. Alternatively, students may take the exam and grade it themselves using the solutions provided; either on regular rack rentals, or their own equipment.
• Product Bundles / Packages
If a grouping of multiple individual products are sold together as a package, the student receives Investment Protection coverage on ALL the products included in the bundle at that time (this includes Tiered and Value Training Packages, End-to-End Programs, and special or promotional bundles). If however, additional products are added to that bundle more than 60 days AFTER purchase, they are NOT covered by the student’s initial purchase. They may, however, be bought and added into the student’s bundle for a discounted rate. Contact sales@ine.com for details or any questions on this.
• CCIE Bootcamp and Workshop Course Re-attendance
All our live bootcamps and workshops (both online and onsite) include the ability for students to re-attend the same class at any time if they feel it is necessary. When re-attending a bootcamp class, there are a few guidelines that must be followed:
- Students wishing to re-seat a class must ensure the date they want is not already sold out.
- Student must have paid in full for their first class. (If the student received any discount off of the full list price of the first class, the difference will need to be paid prior to re-seating)
- Remote equipment access is required for all bootcamp and workshop classes. Students re-seating one of these classes can rent the equipment from us for a flat fee ($415 for a 5-Day Bootcamp, $500 for a 6-Day Bootcamp or 6-Day Workshop, $995 for a 10-Day or 12-Day Bootcamp), or they may provide their own remote equipment and not incur any extra fees.
- For an onsite “All-Inclusive Bootcamp” only, the student must re-pay the fee for hotel reservations and meal costs directly to Internetwork Expert. Contact sales@ine.com for details on this fee.
*The re-seat cost of the class itself is free-of-charge; however any "All-Inclusive" 12-Day Bootcamps do require the student to pay Internetwork Expert a fee of $1,995 to cover the cost of the included hotel, meals, and food for the bootcamp.
