Overview
INE offers rack rentals that support all of our self-paced and instructor-led CCIE product lines, including Routing & Switching, Voice, Security, and Service Provider. In addition to 24-hour hardware support, INE rack rentals come with simplified scheduling and advanced management control and utilize the same hardware and software used in the actual CCIE lab exams.
How many tokens do I need? The following are rough estimates of the number of tokens needed to complete these workbooks. The exact number will vary depending on the product and the person. Each token purchased is good toward rack rental sessions.
- CCIE Routing & Switching Workbook Volumes I and II:
400 rack rental hours = 1,800 tokens
- CCIE Routing & Switching Workbook Volumes III and IV:
150 rack rental hours = 650 tokens

Pricing
All CCIE rack rentals are scheduled in 2.5-hour sessions using our exclusive token system. This system is designed to give you the flexibility to schedule and reschedule your own sessions at your convenience. Each token purchased represents $1 USD. When consecutive sessions are scheduled on the same rack, you'll get uninterrupted access for the entire duration of the sessions for an even better value.
To purchase rack rental tokens, log in to your Members account and select the Rack Rental option in the left navigation. From here you will be able to purchase the rack rental package of your choice. Once you have purchased your tokens, you will be ready to schedule your rack sessions.

Simplified Scheduling
To schedule your CCIE rack rental sessions, log in to your Members account, click Rack Rentals, and select the track for which you want to book a session. Select all the sessions you want, and then click Schedule Labs. It's that easy! Our advanced scheduling system will schedule all your consecutive sessions on the same rack if they are available. You are also provided with tools that let you cancel or reschedule your rack sessions without having to contact Customer Service.
Scheduling CCIE Mock Lab Assessments is just as easy as scheduling a normal CCIE rack rental session. Just log in to your Members account, click Mock Labs to open the scheduler, select your session, and then schedule your lab. As with rack rental sessions, you can cancel or reschedule with just a few clicks.

Rack rentals are 2.5-hour sessions sold in 3-hour blocks and are offered in the following time slots:

Advanced Management Control
The enhanced Rack Control Panel helps you get the most out of your rack rental sessions—you won't waste time reloading devices, saving configurations, loading configurations, or troubleshooting hardware problems. Our Rack Control Panel offers the following features:
- GUI Remote Power Control: Powercycle devices with a single mouse click.
- Configuration capturing, archiving, and loading - Automatically save your configs and resume later.
- Initial configuration loading - Automatically load initial configs for supported INE products.

INE's CCIE Routing & Switching rack rentals use the hardware specification publicly stated to be used in the actual CCIE Routing & Switching Lab Exam. The physical topology of the racks is cabled to meet the specifications of all of our instructor-led and self-paced product lines, including, but not limited to, INE's CCIE Routing & Switching Lab Workbook Volume II.
Per the IEWB-RS-VOL2 Topology, all of our racks include the following equipment:
- Six routers running 12.4 or 12.4T Advanced Enterprise

Security Rack Rentals |

INE's CCIE Security rack rentals use the hardware specification publicly stated to be used in the actual CCIE Security Lab Exam. The physical topology of the racks are cabled to meet the specification of all of our instructor-led and self-paced product lines, including, but not limited to, INE's CCIE Security Technology Labs and CCIE Security Full-Scale Practice Labs.

Access to the routers and switches is via telnet over the Internet. Access to the Windows PCs is via VNC. Access to the GUI interfaces of the IPS and ASAs is available through the Windows PCs.

Service Provider Rack Rentals |
|
The physical topology for INE's CCIE Service Provider Lab Workbook Version 3.0 uses 10 routers and 2 switches, which include a mix of 7200s, 2600s, XR 12000s, Catalyst ME3400s, and Catalyst 3550s. This topology has the flexibility to mimic the requirements of Cisco's actual CCIE Service Provider Version 3.0 hardware blueprint, while still minimizing the cost for users building their own lab at home or work, and allowing for users to run the regular IOS portion of the topology in GNS3/Dynamips.
