CCIE Rack Rentals

Overview

INE now offers simplified scheduling and advanced management control of CCIE Routing & Switching, CCIE Voice, CCIE Security, and CCIE Service Provider Rack Rentals that support all of our Self-Paced and Instructor-Led product lines.

Pricing

All CCIE Rack Rentals are scheduled in 5.5 hour blocks using our exclusive token system. This system is designed to give you the flexibility to schedule and reschedule your own sessions at your convenience. Each token purchased represents $1 USD. When consecutive sessions are scheduled on the same rack, you'll get uninterrupted access for the entire duration of the sessions for an even better value.

Simplified Scheduling

To schedule your CCIE Rack Rental Sessions, log in to your members account and click the Rack Rental Scheduler for the track that you want to book a session for. Check all the sessions you want and then click 'Schedule'. It's that easy! Our advanced scheduling system will schedule all your consecutive sessions on the same rack if they are available. You are also provided with tools to unschedule or reschedule your rack sessions without having to contact Customer Service.

Scheduling your CCIE Routing & Switching Graded Mock Lab is just as easy as scheduling a normal CCIE Rack Rental Session. Just log in to your members account, launch the Routing & Switching Mock Lab Schedular, check off when you want to take it, then click schedule. Like a rack rental session, you can unschedule and reschedule with just a few mouse-clicks and not have to email or call in to have it done for you.

Additionally this system allows you to book rack sessions that are currently in progress for a discounted rate. With this feature you can get immediate access to the study resources that you need 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Rack rentals are sold in 5.5 hour blocks and are offered in four time slots:

• S1. 3:00am - 8:30am Pacific Standard Time (UTC-0800)
• S2. 9:00am - 2:30pm Pacific Standard Time (UTC-0800)
• S3. 3:00pm - 8:30pm Pacific Standard Time (UTC-0800)
• S4. 9:00pm - 2:30am Pacific Standard Time (UTC-0800)

Routing & Switching Rack Rentals

INE's CCIE Routing & Switching Rack Rentals use the hardware specification publicly stated to be used in the actual CCIE Routing & Switching Lab Exam. The physical topology of the racks is cabled to meet the specification of all of our Instructor-Led and Self-Paced product lines including, but not limited to, INE's CCIE Routing & Switching Lab Workbook Volume II.

Per the IEWB-RS-VOL2 Topology all of our racks now include the following equipment:

• Six routers running 12.4 or 12.4T Advanced Enterprise Services IOS
• Two Catalyst 3560 series switches running 12.2 Advanced IP Services
• Two Catalyst 3550 series switch running 12.2 IP Services
• One preconfigured Access Server
• One preconfigured Frame Relay Switch
• Three preconfigured backbone routers

Access to the routers and switches is via TELNET over the Internet.

Advanced Management Control

Through the enhanced Rack Control Panel you can now get the most out of your Rack Rental sessions by not having to waste time reloading devices, saving configurations, loading configurations, or troubleshooting hardware problems. Our Rack Control Panel offers the following features for our Rack Rentals:

• GUI Remote Power Control: Powercycle devices with a single mouse click!
• Configuration capturing, archiving, and loading - Automatically save your configs and resume later!
• Initial configuration loading - Automatically load initial configs for supported INE products!

Voice Rack Rentals

INE's CCIE Voice Rack Rentals use the hardware and software version specification publicly stated to be used in the actual CCIE Voice Lab Exam. The physical topology of the racks are cabled to meet the specification of all of our CCIE Voice Instructor-Led and Self-Paced product lines.

The topology all of our voice racks include the following equipment:

• All routers are running 12.4(22)T IOS using the "INT VOICE/VIDEO, IPIPGW, TDMIP GW AES" feature set
• One Cisco 2811 Router for "US HQ Site" with two MFT-T1 ports (one data, one voice)
• One Cisco 2811 Router for "US Branch 1 Site" with an HWIC-4ESW and two MFT-T1 ports (one data, one voice)
• One Cisco 2811 Router for "International Branch 2 Site" with an AIM-CUE and two MFT-E1 ports (one data, one voice)
• One Catalyst 3560 series (HQ) PoE switch running 12.2 IP Services
• One Catalyst 3550 series (Branch 2 -user doesn't need to configure) Inline Power switch running 12.2 IP Services
• One preconfigured Terminal/Access Server
• One PSTN Emulator / Frame-Relay Switch (with varying International Dial Plans per lab)
• E1 & T1 Digital Ports for PSTN connectivity
• Five Cisco 7961 IP Phones (two US HQ, one US Branch 1, two International Branch 2)
• One Cisco 7960 IP Phones (PSTN)
• One CallManager Publisher server running Call Manager v7.0.1
• One CallManager Subscriber server running Call Manager v7.0.1

Security Rack Rentals

INE's CCIE Security Rack Rentals use the hardware specification publicly stated to be used in the actual CCIE Security Lab Exam. The physical topology of the racks are cabled to meet the specification of all of our Instructor-Led and Self-Paced product lines including, but not limited to, INE's CCIE Security Lab Workbook Volume II.

Now supporting v3.0 of the CCIE Security Lab on ALL RACKS!

Per the IEWB-SC-VOL2 Topology all of our racks now include the following equipment:

• Six routers running 12.4T ADV. SECURITY or ADV. ENTERPRISE SERVICES IOS
• Two Catalyst 3550 or 3560 series switches with IOS 12.2(50)SE
• Two ASA 5510 firewalls running software version 8.0(4)
• One IPS 4235 running software version 6.0
• One Windows 2000 server running Cisco Secure ACS version 4.x and Certificate Authority
• One Windows PC running Cisco VPN Client Release 4.8.x

Access to the routers and switches is via telnet over the Internet. Access to the Windows PCs is via Windows Remote Desktop. Access to the GUI interfaces of the IPS and ASAs is available through the Windows PCs.

How many tokens do I need? We have broken down a few examples to give you a rough estimate of how many tokens you will need to complete these products. The exact number will vary from product to product and from person to person. Each token purchased is good towards rack rental sessions.
