I started on the CCIE Security track over 1 year ago by purchasing all of the products available from INE. Workbook 1 was a great help to fill in the gaps on the foundations of Security. I took my first attempt, which didn't go very well. The next mistake I made was putting off the next attempt for over 9 months in which I had to relearn a lot of material which I had forgotten during that time. However, the VOD's, Security 5 day boot camp got me back on track for my second attempt which was fairly close to a pass but not quite there yet.
